The Gastro Intestinal (GI) system includes the entire digestive track, from the mouth to the anus. It's one of the most important systems in the body. It's this system, that brings food into the body and pushes waste out. Yet, it's one of most overlooked systems in the body. While at the same time its fairly complex - just look at the diet industry. Adding too much fat to the system (via the gi system) cause much of the cardiac problems seen. Adding too much sugar leads to diabetes. The gi system is also sensitive to temperature, water/solid ratios, fruit, fiber, meat, fluids. Not to mention toxins and poisons. There are diseases like the stomach flu, bacterial infections, and parasites. Then there are disorders like IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), acid imbalances and ulcers. All this will be studied here.
