- IRB (Institutional Review Board) - Work continues to develop a global FDA-type standard for medical practice and research.
- The medical science fund has been established.
- Donation standards are continuing to be developed.
- We are developing multiple streams of income for the fund.
- Our new scientist program is operational.
- There is now an MD registry
- This IRB-FDA is to be completely science based, unlike all other licensing and administrative medical orgranizations.
Tissue Regeneration - Historically, as people age tissue regeneration (from injury) becomes more difficult. Historically, because we have successfully slowed the clock on aging. Any organ in the body is tissue - including the bones and skin. There are two natural forms of tissue degeneration - injury, which causes immediate damage to tissue and aging which is slow and (obviously) comes with age. Minor tissue damage (small cuts) is dealt with a coving (a band-aid). More serious tissue damage requires medical attention. However, after viewing tissue generation (growth) in children, it was determined that - with an understanding of chemistry and organic chemistry - tissue in adults (which has stopped growing) can also be regenerated.
- Osteo Science - Research is continuing with success. In patients we have achieved a full range of bone growth and regeneration, including the teeth. We also have a base chemical mechanism for the growth.
- Cardiology - The heart is the cardiac muscle and like all muscles it grows, shrinks and functions just like any other muscle. Wee currently have a clinical method or cardiac rehabilitation.
- Vascular Science
- Arteriosclerosis - the condition of the hardening of the arteries has been identified (chenically) and methods of reversal are in both medical study and clinical study.
- Thrombosis - the condition in the body of stick blood has been identified (chemically) and methods of reversal and control used successfully in clinical studies.
Immunology - With the increase in allergies and drug resistant strains of microbes, this is an area were success with alternatives are required. Fortunately, we have had success with both allergies and drug resistant strains of microbes.
- Air Borne Infection Clinical Study(was - SARS and the Flu Clinical Study) - This is a huge area of study. The threat of bird flu continues and pushed the main focus on prevention via vaccine. The problem vaccines have not been shown to be clinically effective in preventing air borne infections. The only true means of preventing infections lies with improving the immune system. This means dealing with the illness, itself, is important. This study has been successful in increasing immunity and the ability to fight off air borne infection. We have been able to see the cough suppressant ability of chocolate on a repeated basis. Further, we have seen unusual changes in body chemistry caused by these new deadly strains of flu. In medical study, we were able to reduce the severity of the flu, and now in clinical study we were able to achieve a one year and a half period, flu free in a patient that previously experienced between 3 to 6 flu's per year. From January of 2004 to June of 2005, the patient experienced no head/chest infection and no stomach/gi infection. This study will now continue until 2008.
- Allergies and Allergen Response Clinical Study - This study is two-thirds into its second season, with;
- The 2004 allergy season (April of 2004 to November 2004) completed with no allergy medication required. Further, any reactions that did occur were very mild and short (lasting no longer than 5 minutes).
- Spring and Summer of 2005 completed with no allery medication. The few reactions did occur were very mild and short (under 1 minute).
- Full 2006 - no allergy medication or anti-biotics
- Up to August 2007 - Mosquto and other bug bites gone in 6 to 12 hours.
- Up to August 2007 - splinters disolved in under a week, no secondary or residual infections.
Neurology
- Stroke Research (neurology) - A new medical study on strokes has begun. At this point, we are currently, doing a general survey. This survey should provide a good picture of how large of a problem exists, what's been done and what options are available. The survey will run continuously, with quarterly assessments.
- Nerve hypersensitivity - We have moved the clinical study of gi nerve hypersensitivity into the gi clinical (see medical clinic below). Serveral gi hypersensitivity issues have been resolved in clinical studies[ including lactose intolerance, false (and frequent) BM and urination signals.
Oncology - General Health Clinical Study has become the Good Samaritan Online Medical Clinic. when more serious health issue become a major concern, it's equally important to look at general health.
- The Chemistry of Cancer - Several chemical mechanism for the cause of cancer has been found. Research will be moving from the lab bench into medical study.
The Good Samaritan Online Medical Clinic - General Health Clinical Study has become the Good Samaritan Online Medical Clinic. when more serious health issue become a major concern, it's equally important to look at general health.
- Quality of Care - Is of major concern, with the massive increases in the cost of medicine, fewer people can be helped. In systems like in Canada, there are longer waits for specialists. While, in systems like in the US, fewer people are covered by health insurance. The major issue from a patient survey is the quality of care that they are getting from their doctors. This includes patient confusion about taking medication and dosage mistakes made doctors.
- Public Health Care project - with the increase concern for the quality of care and the access to health care in an atmosphere of increased medical costs, this project was started. It provides free health care to the public for free, while researching alternative methods of paying for its cost.
